Privacy policy
The getadeal.ai website and its mailing list
Updated September 4, 2026
This policy covers the getadeal.ai website and its mailing list. How we process the data of Getadeal app and marketplace users is described separately when you register for the service.
1. Controller
Getadeal Oy (business ID 1618029-6) is responsible for the processing of personal data described in this policy.
For data protection matters, contact: info@getadeal.fi
2. What data we process
When you join the mailing list, we store the following:
- your email address
- your name, if you give it — the field is optional
- the language you chose, so we know which language to write to you in
- which page or campaign you joined from
- as evidence of your consent, the time you joined, your IP address and your browser identifier
We collect no other personal data on this site. The site has no analytics, no advertising trackers and no third-party tracking pixels.
Joining the mailing list does not create a user account in the Getadeal service and does not link you to a user of the service, even if you use the same email address.
3. Why we use the data, and on what basis
We use the data only to send you communications and marketing about the launch of Getadeal.ai and about the service. The legal basis for the processing is the consent you gave (Article 6(1)(a) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation).
You can withdraw your consent at any time using the link in every message, or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
4. Retention
We keep your data for as long as you are on the mailing list. When you unsubscribe, we keep your email address and consent record so that we can make sure we send you nothing further. You can ask us to erase your data entirely, and we will.
5. Who the data is disclosed to
We do not sell or rent your data. It is processed on our behalf only by the service providers that run the website, the server environment and the email sending tool. They act on our instructions and are bound by a data processing agreement. We may also disclose data where the law or an authority requires it.
Data is processed primarily within the EU and the EEA. If a service provider processes data outside that area, we make sure the transfer is lawful using the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. Cookies
The site uses one cookie: your language choice is stored in your browser so that the site opens in the same language next time. The cookie is necessary to deliver the function you chose and does not track you across sites, so no separate consent is needed for it.
| Cookie name | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| NEXT_LOCALE | Remembers the chosen language | Up to 1 year |
The site has no analytics, advertising or profiling cookies. You can delete the cookie in your browser settings; after that the site picks the language from your browser's language preference.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- know what data we process about you, and receive a copy of it
- ask us to correct inaccurate data
- ask us to erase your data
- ask us to restrict the processing, or object to it
- receive the data you gave us in a portable format
- withdraw your consent at any time
You can exercise your rights by contacting us at the address below. We will respond within one month.
If you believe we are processing your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
8. Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection, and only those people who need the data for their work can access it. We protect the data with appropriate technical and organisational measures against unauthorised access, alteration and loss.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example as the service develops. The current version is always on this page, and the date of the update is shown at the top. We will tell the mailing list about significant changes.
